Thoroughbreds can be demanding horses to shoe, especially when they are in race training or returning to regular work. Their feet take repeated loading at speed, and any weakness in the hoof wall can make standard nailing or some adhesive applications more difficult. That was the problem Richard Eubanks faced with a nine-year-old Thoroughbred whose feet had been an issue for about five years.
