Owner Review: Glushu for laminitis.

Thanks to horse owner Sam for sharing how Glushu helped laminitic Rubee. We are so happy to see her back up and about in comfort.

The pain of laminitis is often underestimated and it’s essential to make the horse or pony comfortable quickly, while they’re being treated.

Glushu provides the farrier with an amazing tool to get the foot off the ground and add modifications providing support and shock absorption without the extra trauma of hammering and nailing.

Maintaining good circulation and exercise is essential to help horses through laminitis.

Glushu provides hoof support, shock absorption and cushion so that your horse can continue to be turned out in comfort during a laminitic episode. Being stable bound has been proven to exacerbate laminitis due to weight gain and lack of exercise.

If you would like to try Glushu for your horse please order from our online store or at your local farrier supply.

From Sam

“This is my daughter’s pony Rubee, she is 18 year old and 3 months ago she came down with her second episode of laminitis in her front fore. She has ems and recently diagnosed with cushings, her weight has always been an issue she's a very good doer.

My farrier recommended Glushu glue on horse shoes as didn't want to nail shoes back on. We left her for a week to allow the pain to settle and he came and put a front pair on.

Prior to having them on she was lame and very uncomfortable walking, once he put the Glushu on she was 100% more comfortable and walking almost sound.

It is now 9 weeks since they have been on and we are now back riding in walk!

I had never heard of Glushu till my farrier had recommended them and even though they are more expensive than shoes I would highly recommend them.

I honestly don't think we would be at the stage now if it hadn't been for the shoes and of course I have an amazing farrier.”
