In equine care, a horse's hoof health is crucial. A compromised hoof wall can lead to discomfort, pain, and mobility restrictions. Recently, the skilled farriers at Bluegrass Horseshoeing School faced a challenge: a horse with no hoof wall. They employed Glushu, to tackle this issue. Please follow Bluegrass Horseshoeing School on Facebook to keep up with the progress of the horse in this success story.

The horse was brought to Bluegrass Horseshoeing School for its first shoeing. Unfortunately, the hooves had been excessively trimmed, so there was no hoof wall left to nail the shoe to.Immediate action was required to improve the horse's comfort and mobility.

To address this issue, the farriers chose Glushu, a product designed to provide a secure fit without the need for nails. Glushu is particularly useful for horses with compromised hoof structures, making it the perfect solution in this challenging case.

From Bluegrass Horseshoeing School:

“I am happy to share with you our latest work with Glushu glue on horse shoes.

This particular horse was a first time shoe job for our school. The feet had been trimmed way too short and there was no hoof wall to nail to. In addition, the horse had a hole in the sole and was very lame. The owners reported back that she is walking comfortably after the Glushu application.

Happy horse, happy owner”

After Glushu was applied, the results were nothing short of remarkable. The horse, which had experienced significant lameness prior to the shoeing, began walking comfortably within days. This turnaround not only improved the horse's quality of life but also brought relief and joy to its owners.

This success story emphasizes the effectiveness of Glushu for unique hoof challenges. It showcases the dedication and skill of the farriers at Bluegrass Horseshoeing School, who continuously strive to find innovative solutions for horses in need.
