“A step in the right direction!  Dr. Brandon King and apprentice Brendan Wren crafted this custom glue-on shoe to help this horse on its journey to comfort. While we're not at full soundness yet, this is a crucial first step toward better mobility. Here’s to the process!

“The horse had a soft tissue injury and was non-weight-bearing on that limb. Due to the injury’s distal location, the horse was highly sensitive to movement and concussion, making any nail-on option unviable.

GluShus were an excellent choice because I could shape them to fit the foot, add pads for sole support on a weakened hoof, and provide relief to the injured soft tissue by reducing breakover with a custom urethane glue build.
